My thought's on the Walt Disney Story...

I also watched the CNBC special about the life of Walt Disney, and came away quite impressed. I've read countless books and seen other documentaries about Walt's life, so a lot of the information presented in the documentary wasn't new, but the interviews and footage sure were.

Walt: The Man Behind the Myth

CNBC aired the two hour documentary "Walt: The Man Behind the Myth," a few weeks ago, and I have had it sitting in my DVR box, but I finally had the chance to sit down and watch it the other night.

It is Great!

CARS - land

I remember seeing the news release that came out a few years ago, announcing the building of the new Cars-land in Disneyland.  While there weren't many particulars announced at first, the release did mention a driving-based thrill ride would be the jewel of the new land.

Obviously we now know what the thrill-ride will be - Radiator Springs Racers, but.

LOST - Part 2

Read Part 1

After the crash landing, on an unknown island, the passengers, of the now destroyed Oceanic Airlines plane, depart from the wreckage to find they are on a beach, but they don't seem to be the first set of castaways.

There is a small beach-front camp with makeshift homes, made from discarded airplane pieces and other found objects.  I envisioned the space to be a bit like the "Swiss Family Robinson Tree-House."  Passengers can explore the camp, perhaps even getting the chance to eat some fresh mango (Perhaps a 'Mango-Whip' would be in order, after such a trying ordeal?)

LOST- Part 1

One of the reasons I started this blog, was due to a rather vivid daydream I had about LOST.  I have heard the rumors that Disney was already developing a LOST attraction years ago, but the attraction I envisioned seemed really neat in my mind -

If I was an Imagineer...

The LOST attraction queuing area would be in an airport, you would proceed to a flight check-in area and get your ticket (fastpass) and obviously if you did not have a fastpass you would be flying 'stand-by.'  When it was time for your departure you would proceed to your gate and then board your plane.

It Begins

I want to start with the following:

I am not now, nor have I ever been affiliated in any way with the Walt Disney Company, WED Enterprises, Disney Imagineering, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, or anyone.  Anything that is written on this blog is for the purposes of entertainment, and is in no way an indication of what Disney is planning or doing.

When some people's minds wander, they take them to exotic locations, or dreams of luxury and riches....
